The fools that post on the Facebook page do not have a clue. They are the ones that ask the same questions that gave been answered before and are affronted when they don't get a personal reply from MC himself.

One of the main reasons I've hardly used Facebook in the last couple of years. Twitter is a much better class of social networking. You still get a few numbskulls but they've only got 140 characters to make a complete tool of themselves with.

Not a fan of twitter myself but i can see how sometimes less is more!

Not done any Facebooking, much prefer Twitter, I can't understand with Facebook why people are willing to post lots of personnel information regarding themselves.

Short & sweet, certainly the most positive news to come out of BV for the last few months.
It seems as though we can all start to look forward again and try to erase the memory of the previous regime.
If MC could arrange a public flogging at BV, there would be plenty of folk happy to buy tickets.

I know we are all going to bag the old regime....again....but it's worth saying that they brought a lot of value with their short residency.
The North Stand, the new shops, the extra people that have been coming through the door, even the fact that we are still here is still down to them, whether they spent all the money or not.
Of course it isn't good that we ended up where we are but if MC can get the finances in order, we are left in a better position than before Glover took over.
Even at playing level, the team we have now (assuming the gaps are filled, is better than the one we had before Glover and Elston came on board.

Lets look forward to making it better, at least in this thread, rather than moaning again about what has gone on before.

As a Salford fan I'm genuinely pleased that you are now getting some good news.

Regarding the doom merchants absences. I found that this time last year we also had several who seemed hellbent on running everything down but as things progressed it became apparent that their negativity, had backed themselves into a corner and the only way out was for the club to go under.
When Marwan came in and things started to improve those same people disappeared of the forum unfortunately they have been replaced by ONE or two who seem to enjoy trolling others.

Anyway keep the faith because once you loose a sports club it's almost impossible getting it back so looking forward to seeing you on Feb16.

Calm down ladies you will be having an accident. I gave MC credit for reducing the debt albeit be selling a large chunk of the first team squad which is not unique Ted did it several times.
I would suggest you reserve judgement until the squad is complete before you build up your hopes. We have currently only acquired one player. You are all getting excited at players who even during Ted time would be met with complete indifference but not this time why because you are all disparate for signings.

Good to see that, even when MC comes out with news where we are, what you have been desperate to know. You can still put a negative slant on it.
Most of the clubs we will be equal to have done most of their recruitment, so will be pushed to add anymore.
I am looking forward to seeing who comes in, harnessed with the players we already have, the shortfall under control.

No it does not take a genius to know that if MC had bought AG out he or whoever would need to be approved by the RFL much like Bradford. This is not a sign of genius but an understanding of how the RL works which I would think you would know.
