It was soft no doubt but about on a par with others that have been disallowed for next to nothing this year. It's the interpretation of the law which is an ass. I walked 8 miles from my home in liversedge to watch that and I am not happy. That team on paper is good enough to be in super league, however there seems to be no game plan no moves nothing. Its like playing amateur rugby, everytime you get near the line try and step a player to score and hope you don't get tackled. Sure the coach has to take some blame but these guys are professionals and need to stand up and be counted. We had plenty of opportunities to score and always took the wrong option.

Kirmond is suffering from two things from what I can see; a recurring injury and no Tim Smith to put him in the gaps.

He should have been rested when we played Leeds at Headingley, it wasn't like we had much of a chance, instead he was allowed to play with a painkilling injection.

None back would be fair if everything said about the reasons for administration is true but do we really know the truth.

I went today and was embarrassed to be wearing the shirt. I have seen all the bad times in the last 50 years and there have been a lot but i have never been so BORED watching Trinity. No passion no skill no ideas no organisation. The only way we are going to rescue this season is to sack agar and chums. Appoint an up and coming coach and send all the loan players back . Lets have a settled side and build something. We may not win many more matches but we might see some effort.

He certainly wasn't the Scruton from last year. He made a few decent drives but he didn't seem to have the fire in his belly I was expecting. Barring his neat little chip over, Sammut thankfully had one of his fairly average games... I expected him to get over the whitewash at least once today.

A real disappointment today. We had the chances to clearly win this. Poor/dropped passes particularly in the first half with Kirmond and Moore (in front of the sticks) spring to mind. Godinet unlucky not to get another interception.

Second half we got our tails up then a whole bunch of decisions went against us. For some I was too far away to be a good judge (great viewing position close to the action at this iconic Odsal). It felt as though similar looking incidents (ball coming loose in the tackle) were penalised against us and not penalised against Bradford.

I thought it a bit crazy for Moore to be sin binned and no one on their side. More lack of consistency with how the game is reffed game to game. It will be interesting to see the TV highlights as to who threw the first punch. Irony is in the Hull match both Riley and Crookes were binned when Crookes instigated the incident by kicking out.

On only one viewing I can't see how the ref called a shoulder charge motion for disallowing Mathers' try. Agar's comment that he saw nothing on the monitor to justify denying it adds to the discussion.

Overall we had the chances and didn't take them. Our defence was also poor.

However, I'm glad Sammut and Godinet are back at half back. They looked a lot more lively than Sykes and Seijka and I think Jarrod and Pita should stay half backs until the end of the season.

We can't win games if we don't create chances. Although working on defence is a must.

Scruton was anonymous today. A couple of threads on here have suggested that he's been like that for most of his time at WTW. Scrutes has always been a form player in my opinion. During the Mick Potter reign at Odsal he had a very poor couple of years. Last season he was streets ahead of anyone else in our squad and appeared to be returning to form. Today suggests otherwise. I hope he finds his feet again.

Perhaps his heart still remains at Bradford?

I just can't my head around how we were not up for this match. If we had been focused on this match all week we would have won instead we had the it's just another match mentality and lost.

Which player was RFA refering to when he said you cant get away with throwing yourself on the floor at this level (left hand edge).but never mind Lynne could be back for the London Game.Also its not just the first team being poorly coached the 19s are just as bad .Dickens is throwing away some talented players

Richard Owen ought to buy a season ticket for Castleford and spend his Sundays watching them from the sidelines instead of watching Wakefield from the touchline.

The rest were garbage, with special mentions for Scruton and Owen, neither of whom I would have paid in washers for today's efforts; the sight of Owen leaning nonchalantly on the corner flag as if he was waiting for a bus, summed it up for me.

To be fair I thought Walshaw went well, along with Mathers but no one other than the 4 mentioned can really hold their head up. Sammut was doing his best behind a beaten pack I suppose.
