Ref didn't give the pen for the alleged elbow and Farrell retaliated, the first offence was Farrells punch.

It got better - but also we controlled the ball much better - from around this point in the season.

This is the level the team are at. They were poor most of last year but the 7 game winning streak meant the squad overachieved. Expect a 10th or lower place finish this year.

And has i said last year we got lucky with a few results, the two drop goal wins for a start, i agree we won't make the 8 this year.

That’s a decent effort,what with Wigan being on fire of late & Poore letting his teammates down again.

It’s the points we’ve dropped this season against Huddersfield, Catalan, Salford & Hull that’s cheesed me off, that’s seven points thrown away, today was always a extremely tall order.

I don't agree with that. I thought we were ahead of the game last year, but I think 8 is possible and below that is realistic.

When you analyse the side we played today we were beaten by a couple of brilliant players, a few good ones and a few kids - it's about the systems they employ and the attitude they take with them and reckon you could take several from each side, put them in the other side and not really notice them.

Yes he can he's a professional rugby player if he'd gone down with the punch it may have been Farrell leaving the pitch instead with a potential different game developing.

Some good team spirit but again too many unforced errors. If a player is not 100 % fit don't play them. (Kirmond in 19 instead of Mariano + Raleigh). Hope Mathers is ok for next week? I wonder if we'll go a decade without beating pie eaters at theirs?
