Well having got home (yes, I know it's early but I live in Surrey) I don't think we deserved to win, but the scoreline was perhaps a little harsh against us.

The biggest problem is that nobody seemed to be that switched on for the first 35 minutes (prime example being Korki playing the ball before heading off at the end of his first spell, but getting in the way of the dummy half causing a knock-on & Quins scoring from the next set) & there was no leadership until Rinaldi came on.

I accept that Hickey still isn't match fit, but he fell for sidesteps far too easily and doesn't have a great tackling technique. He's a big unit, but the way he runs up defensively doesn't seem that committed.

I don't think we need to look at a change of coach this year, but whatever league we're in next year we need to have a coach who offers greater tactical nous than just 5 drives & a kick.

"Sometimes you have to show hunger." Well that's your department John. There's more to coaching than just picking a side. Do one.

FYI we had 3 players on loan and 4 players from our youth system.......A "pointless" club that put 40 points on you lot!!!!

We seem to have a bit of a history in losing to sides who are looking to break a long losing streak. You can blame it on 50 factors but Kear say's it week in week out - lack of desire.

Maybe having a coach whose desire is to coach elsewhere....

No Fans- We get more fans than Salford, Crusaders and London an are only just behind Cas and Huddersfield.

No Ground- We all know in its current state Belle Vue is not great but the club are trying their best to improve it. We also could still play at Barnsley if we have to.

No Juniors- We won the academy grand final 2 years ago and I think I am right in saying that our squad has the lowest average age in the league. We also have quite a few acedemy products in our first team (Morton, Davey, Wildie) and there are many others plying their trade in Super League (Brough, Westwood and Ellis)

NO Money- Andrew Glover has stated several times that if we do get a licence then we will spend the full cap so money is no longer an issue.

No Identity of our own- Wakefield Trinity is one of the biggest names in the game and has a great tradition.

Thats like being proud of being the worlds tallest dwarf. You get more crowds after over 100 years than a club which is expanding the game in its 6th year, and another which is realistically in its 17th at a maximum. Plus you arent that much more than Crusaders, and Crusaders are much further ahead than you were in your 3rd year of SL.

Salfords crowds are unacceptable at the moment.

Its still not comparable to The Stoop and it seems a strange thing to criticise Quins for renting a good quality stadium made for rugby like the Stoop when Wakefields options are the equivelant of putting lipstick on a pig in the hope the RFL dont notice it is a cynical attempt to do the bare minimum or go rent a football stadium in a different county.

The academy GF is for the lads playing in it. It is a very very poor way of judging the quality of youth development. I have seen Leeds academy sides blow away everyone and no players go on to play first team, and squads barely making the play-offs produce two or three quality first team players. Quins have done fantastic in bringing players through, players like Jamie O'callaghan, Olsi Krasniqui, Ben Bolger, not forgetting players playing elsewhere like Will Sharp, or internationals like LMS and Tony Clubb.

Lots of people state lots of things. Wakefield were bust at the start of the year, Quins carry no real debt.

It isnt, realistically it isnt one of the biggest names in the game and has no greater tradition than a lot of clubs.

If you need to believe that, carry on, it bothers me not. You seem to have taken this defeat by Quins pretty badly though and your lashing out is quite funny to watch.
