| Yes i was a little disappointed we didnt score more.
At 35-10 with about 10 to go, we looked to have another couple of tries in us.
Maybe at times we just pushed it a bit too much.
On to next week

| True, we didn't place the boot on the throat, we just kept giving the ball away in the last 10.
50 was very possible.
Its not a massive issue but its where the likes of Cas and Saints build big scores.
In the context of just winning the game, it doesn't matter, but in the wider context its about maintaining focus no matter what, for the entire 80.
Its much easier to do when you are used to doing it, if you're not sometimes its not there when you need it.
Its by no means a complaint, just an observation.

| Quote Towns88="Towns88"Managed to get in from wheldon road and watch the game without knowing the score (kind of) so watched on record. What a show. The score massively flattered Leeds. Bill Tupou could well have finished kallum Watkins. Think it was vastman who made a point of certain Leeds players having huge reputation especially their oversees players but in reality are they actually that good ? Tupou or Hurrell? Fifita or Merrin? Miller or that fat lad they played full back? I know who I'd rather have in my side week in week out.
The brand of rugby you lot play makes it a joy to watch when you're in full flight. Could we argue that the salary cap plays a part? Once upon a time the likes of wakey / Cas would only beat the favoured sides if they had a bad night and wakey / Cas had the rub of the green.'"
I've said it before about these big reputation Overseas players, while still decent players they just aren't hungry for it anymore. After playing at the top in the NRL they don't seem top be able to replicate it our league especially when they know they won't return to the NRL. They command a an high salary on name alone. Give me a younger hungry NRL reject with everything to prove any-day.

I'm just glad we've got the squad we have.

| To be fair Lolohea pretty much setup all of Leeds tries. He is clearly out of shape or carrying an injury but will come good. His passing is class.
Hurrell never really did it in the NRL apart from a few glimpses and I don't see that changing over here anytime soon.
Leeds need a scrum half and fast, another year of poor recruitment from Mr Hetherington but no doubt he will keep his job.

| Outstanding performance right across the park that - but special mentions to Broughy and Tupou; I was very critical of the Brough signing, and I'm happy to eat humble pie on that one - he remains the best kicker of the ball in SL history, and one of the best organising hb's - the way he puts his teammates right where they need to be, is just exceptional; and to see his hunger to win *every* involvement he has throughout the game is amazing, given his age and experience. I hope he does more of that, and keeps his temper in check.
Tupou is an outstanding centre - he has that Big Ali skill of stepping through heavy traffic and finding some space - he totally embarrassed Watkins, who'll have nightmares about that game for years.
Lovely stuff - let's hope that signals the mythical 'clicking' of this team, and we get more of the same; if that doesn't teach them how good they can be, I don't know what will.

| I think today's edition of League Express should have been sub-titled: "Special Wakefield Trinity Edition". A wealth of Trin associated articles. Even old sourpuss Garry Schofield sings their praises over Friday's game in a lengthy article.

| Absolutely great performance and a big win against a Leeds side that had previously showed some promise but looked to be well off the pace. If they can't do better than that at home on their big party night then they are in for a long season.
Toupu was outstanding and it was man versus boys down his edge.
Oh, before I forget - Trent Merrin
