Senior has had a rough ride from some, I think he’s done ok tbh but I still don’t get the signing as his inexperience has often shown through. For me we may as well have given that chance to one of our own.

Indeed, most likely he will get the mistakes out of his system with us and then be off to a different club.

I would rather see us play "one of our own" personally.

Think Senior as gone ok for us ,Showed last night with space to work in he can finish. Think it down to the football we have been playing or not been playing .Our attack as been very flat and slow .and so easy to read that by the time the ball as gone out wide the centres ,winger were cover by the defending team ..We got T J and how many running chances does he get a game Early days yet but looks like W P Is getting the team to play a faster expanding game than Mr Chester

He did ok, certainly earned his "corn".
However, we were at our best when both Fifita and Tangianoa were both on at the same time.
Although, it was a great team effort, especially defensively..

Special mention to the highways folk over there, closing the main road out of Hull (A63) and having a mickey poor diversion in place.

This really saddens me, of the countless numbers I’ve seen at the MKM, I believe the only trouble I’ve witnessed was the group of young Wakey fans, which I touched on last year, as you say all clubs have their idiots unfortunately, The vast majority of black & whites who travel as you will know, in good numbers, behave impeccably, so please expect more of us, and if you’ve had trouble especially with children accompanying you, please report the matter to the relevant authorities. I’m sure we all want to enjoy our games in friendly rivalry rather than loutish behaviour.

You have a crowd you will have some fools, it’s life.

It’s not pleasant and it’s wrong but so long as it’s relatively rare then we will have to live with it, a bit like Covid.

What I won’t do is pint fingers. I personally have had more issues with some clubs than others but that’s just my experience and probably doesn’t reflect the norm.

Sort of but because he died so young he’s become kind of immortal or at least forever young. As Keef says in his book, Jones was never destined to get old.

There is really not much else to say about the Hull KR game so there's no harm in a little Stones divergence. Fun to read.

It may offend purists but I have to agree with you on that. It's a real shame that when you mention Mick Taylor (yet another John Mayall product) people say "Who?". The whole rhythm section backing was so tight and solid.

Saw the Stones in 1965 at Leeds Odeon. Ticket for seats five rows from front cost 12/6 (62,5p): saw them at Old Trafford, Manchester on their last tour, ticket price £100. Inflation or what?????

The Stones more than any other sixties band continually developed, something they get little credit for.

They started off as an R&B band.

Became a brilliant pop band, see Satisfaction and Get off my cloud.

Made a fairly decent stab at Flower power before seeing the light.

It wasn’t the Kinks who invented rock or the Stones but IMO the first genuine rock song to break out into the charts was Jumpin Jack flash, record company thought it was too rough to get in the charts, it was a number one.

The Stones were most definitely the first band to perfect the rock album, pre dating Zepplin by a good year. Beggars banquet, Let it bleed, Exile, Sticky fingers and the criminally understated Goats head soup, all mainly featuring Taylor’s brilliant lead.

Great talent was Taylor but almost as frail as Jones but at least he knew when to get out.
