| Benji is still magic
He’s my fav player of all time (non Wakey)
Was lucky enough to meet him once and have a beer with him
Fantastic bloke and a complete one off player
I watch a lot of nrl, it’s the next level, however nothing can beat being down bell vue watching Wakey (all be it painful at times lol)

| Quote vastman="vastman"That’s what saddens me, there is a talent pool in SL, not as big as the NRL but all the same there.
Sadly we persist with filling all the key rolls with ex NRL players. I’m not doubting their ability but there is no doubt they have eroded our hone grown talent base.
I don’t mind Lino but he’s shown no more creativity in 5 games than Brad Walker. I didn’t watch last night, did he play?
If not why not? There is simply nothing wrong with this lad he has a real RL brain. Yet Chester the supposed champion of young British talent has dropped him like a stone after a terrific set of debut games.
I Hear the science but frankly it’s hokum, let young British talent free before it’s to late.'"
I don't think CC is a champion of young British talent - quite the opposite...why else would he ignore Brad Walker and Harry Bowes when his team is crying out for quick distribution and someone with a short kicking game
Perhaps this weekend with more injuries to contend with he may be forced to include them...unless he goes out and gets someone on loan who's not good enough to get into another SL team...
...what's that, he has done...wow

| I'm watching more Aussie RL than ever and it does make it harder to watch Super League. However, I think that's largely down to the lack of crowds. It's hard to care about a result when there is no one in the stadium, caring.
I have to confess, however, I prefer it when Wakey aren't on. I fast-forwarded through the Hull game, because it's just no fun to watch. I know it'll be fine once Belle Vue is open again for crowds though.

I get your point about Walker but Bowes is a million miles off and would be eaten alive if he were a regular.
CC is correct where Bowes is concerned.

| Watching some of the matches from last weekend’s magic round and even St Helens would get thrashed in that league.

| Genuinely think Aus could comfortably put out 4 separate teams which would beat England. I believe the gulf has grown bigger in the last few seasons. Agree, it would be like bobbing Celtic in the premier league, be mid table. Every single NRL team has world class players in there.

The big difference is the broncos will move heaven and earth to get back on track and have the financial clout to do it . Personally I love to watch the NRL it’s high energy with ball skills off the chart game after game .
