Howarth?? Only article I could find is that stating we signed howarth and viewers for 2011 but that's it.

Don't think he is signed up.

It was his first year in SL and I thought he went ok.

Howarth is here next season I am almost certain.

Sorry to come on and bore you all again,but yes,the players do have a responsibilty to perform,some havn`t,but at the end of the day its the coaches tactics which have to be followed,a thing that has been sadly lacking.Look,I have said earlier I wish Agar well,but can anybody explain why when the rumours started he was to be Wakey`s coach,most on here didn`t want to know him.Now all of a sudden he is a Saviour?

I don't recall anyone describing him as a saviour; regardless what we think of him though, he's now our HC, so we have to get behind him and hope he proves a lot of people wrong.

Would you advocate a hate campaign against him, akin to the one that your lot have been engaged in, before a ball is thrown?

He is not a saviour but I think the majority are willing to give him a chance here. There are alot worse head coaches out there.

Hull was his first HC job, he has got hull to playoffs last 2 seasons but has not met the fans expectations.

I am hoping he has learned from his experience and a different environment with less pressure to get into top 4 may do him good.

There is a risk involved but he was one of the best out their of our target coaches who would come after a disastorous year.

So an improvement on last year is required.

O.k. maybe saviour was a bit strong,and no I would not advocate a hate campaign against him.He has always come across as a nice bloke,if not a bit dull in his communicating.Its not him as a person I dislike,it is his idea of coaching which has left a lot of Hull fans frustrated.He may have turned a corner and learnt things from his time here.I hope he has.

You are right ,Agar was up against it from day 1 with some fans,but as I pointed out elsewhere, most were prepared to give him a chance.You have to forgive us for not being disappointed he is going.In our defence ,have you never had a coach you have been glad to see go?

Since you're now rid of him then, may I respectfully request then that you move on and stop banging on about it?

Meanhwile, keep your fingers tightly crossed that Mr Gentle turns out to be the saviour that he's been painted as; it would be terrible if, after all this expectation, it turns out to be a cosy little triumverate of bezzy mates at Hull FC, all with the same agent, taking yet more millions out of your club whilst achieving very little.

True,but we are used to failure just lately.I am sorry if posting on a forum is "banging on" but as this was a thread connected to Hull I thought I would have a go.Never mind,I won`t lose sleep over it.

You can do what you like, but you have made the same point quite a few times; after a while, it just comes across as gloating and that gets peoples backs up.

If it has come across as gloating,it is a mistaken impression.I have no axe to grind with Wakey or its fans.I was just trying to defend us Hull fans from looking like a bunch out with the pitchforks and torches on a hate campaign.
