Would that still not occur if the newcold shed was part of the original agreement?

Not a WT Supporter, but have followed this shambles for years wishing you all well, so forgive my quick thought.

The selective quoting of minutes is a typical government tactic as it will be picked to make the point they want, while not telling us what was said before or after (which might be the opposite).

However WMBC have now admitted they DO have minutes of those meetings, so someone needs to enter a FOI request for them and if they refuse (for whatever reason) appeal to the Information Commissioner who can (and often does) order their release.

If anyone any doubts about the Wakefield Express loyalties just look at what Armadillo says about the timeline of the statement been released. Just at the right moment as to not give the chance of reply before going to press.

i understand how Yorkcourt managed to get the Newcold to not count against the trigger point, by putting in new a PA because it was going to be so much higher than planned. But I still can't get my head around why the Council didn't make it part of the initial agreement. Ateotd they wouldn't have been building the thing if it wasn't for the 15000 signatures and the Community side of things anyway, so why did they let them basically circumvent the original S106 agreement.

Quite clearly the council are now attempting to justify their position... which comes across as a weak, churlish and childish position. With little .. or no substance if interrogated with the statement:

' the best interests of the people of Wakefield is at the centre of everything we do'

The actions are that of politics... political bias! ... and using elected position to further personal agendas!

Awful response but one which accurately reflects the true nature of those who have seized control of local politics!!!
