If there ever was a night to bring out your A game tonight was the night. Outstanding defense and razor sharp attack. Not one weak link every player played there part and what a wonderful performance . What a great night I've watched them for 60 years and what a great night and I'm eager for some more. Absolutely WOW!!!

8016 Fans crammed into that stadium tonight plus over 25,000 people watched on the Sportsman. It was a cracking game, brilliantly planned during the week with how we would go about our business today and then we executed it to perfection, plus the awesome support won't have done any harm. The guys deserve everything that comes their way, which they started out planning quite vocally for all those months back. It was an incredible journey and achievement from the players, Coach and all the staff and obviously, it wouldn't have happened without Matt and his family.
It could have been so easy for the team to shut down at stages towards the end and go with the fact they thought they were back in SL under IMG, but they haven't taken anything for granted and the way we've gone about this will hold us in great stead for next season hopefully in SL.

Toulouse barely troubled our line, defensively we completely smothered them.
Definitely our best performance of the season, a truly magical night!

Nilling them was the icing on the cake!

People have been going on about an 80 minute performance and for me that was it. From minute 1 to minute 80 we were excellent and every single player executed their jobs perfectly. I think our 2 best performaces of the season were in the 2 finals and for me that is a good sign as it shows we turn up when it matters.

I thought Tommy Doyle was absolutely outstanding and my MOM but a speacial mention has to go to Lino who has has plenty of criticism but last night he was fantatstic with the ball and also defensivly.

And the thing is, I don't think Toulouse played badly. They weren't dropping the ball, ran hard and threw it around too.....they just couldn't break us.

Just glorious , absolutely glorious , everything just went so well , a fantastic occasion , the atmosphere and an almost perfect performance .


I'm still buzzing this morning .

It was an excellent performance, disappointed with the ref again, for the second week in a row he failed to get a grip of the ruck area. The whole team were excellent but Pitts stood out both in attack and defence last night. Brilliant for Max to hit that record especially with the hammering he took early doors. Jerry what a bloke if only he was 21! See what Wednesday brings but all indications are we in for a great future with our number 1 fan and owner Matt Ellis and his family, we must have the best and most enthusiastic owner in Rugby League by a country mile.
