I think they went expecting for effort, which they clearly didn’t get.

Firstly I was fedending the supporters who went to Wigan

Second we sent a depleted team to Wigan and lost. I'm not sure why you are so keen to stick the boot in.

And the reason I sometimes feel defensive on the teams behalf is that when we won a few games, it was relatively quiet on here with a lot of usual posters pretty quiet. Now they are struggling they are all over it. You should think about that.

We had at least half of our first team missing...what did you expect ??
We don't have the strength in depth that Wigan and Saints have !!

We have a very competitive team when we have a full strength team in the field , I saw enough at saints to see that myself, this game was always a lost leader . Regroup get a few more bodies back in and go again

We just have to hope that we will have some of the above back for HKR on Saturday and that they've had a difficult time in Toulouse

I’ve seen Trinity teams come away from Wigan with bigger defeats than that … we’ve gone from looking very hood to falling off a cliff… I suspect this team is somewhere in the middle ground…

To be honest I wouldn’t expect a full strength team to compete with this years Wigan outfit… I just hope some of the younger players have grown and learned from the experience and come out the better for it…

Last 240 minutes; 124 - 20, completely unacceptable. Still il be at Hull Saturday as I've already arranged to meet friends but if they turn another performance in like that I'll be giving my season ticket away, cannot be bothered wasting time on a group that on todays and Thursdays performance look like they couldn't give a damn about the club at all.

Different ref ,they were getting away with things against us ,that got penalised today .plus not as much ball

Tell you what though, you've not seen Wakefield perform as bad as that against Wigan I bet, we were lucky they didn't score everytime they got the ball, that's no exaggeration. We looked good for the first 10 again then that was it, men against boys

72-6 home loss so the answer is yes I have!

Worst scoreline maybe but we truly were dreadful today, they should have put 100 past us today, they bombed 3 or 4 tries on the line, not forgetting they took there 2 best players off with half an hour to go.

For me the next 6 games will define our season...

Did you really expect anything else given our team compared to theirs ??? Our season won’t be decided on today …. Cas game was a disaster … we need our main players back and go to HKR with the expectation of 2 points ( tho it won’t be easy) . Really hope we turn out in numbers to shout them on .

And me and the missus were the poor sods that had to put all those numbers on the Belle Vue scoreboard...we never sat down all afternoon !!!

The pack we had out today could not compete and the class Wigan have esp in the backs would beat most teams , never mind a team with 7/8 ??? first teamers missing . Agree what you say though .. Wigan looked like scoring on every play just about . The loss today was expected , imo .

How many times are we going to make missing players an excuse?

It seems like every season we blame our unfortunate score lines on missing players,
If only we had this player back or that player available

Granted, missing a lot of key players doesn’t help but every team suffers that and they don’t implode almost every season because of it
There’s something else wrong,

To me there was no effort, that's the way I see it, but maybe that's just frustration that some of these players arent good enough? Not sure but players like Tanginoa, Battye, Miller that we know are perfectly capable of making a one on one tackle getting swatted off like flies throughout, players just not bothering chasing when Wigan make a break, I put that down to effort.

Again I appreciate what you’re saying and also feel as frustrated as you but today was always going to be what it was .. given the teams . Great players make things look really easy and wigans class did that ….

Suppose it depends on who you’re playing when you have a large chunk of your team missing as to how the score ends up ! I’m as fed up as anyone.

Fact temains only scored 4 tries in last 3 games not going to beat many sides on that current form
