Not sour grapes by the way, well done on the win today. Not classic defending by either side but Wakey wanted it more which is why we lost, some good attacking play by both sides. Thought Danny Kirmond was true class, got cheered by Cas fans at the end and deserved it. I hope you can keep him and most of your squad. There's now't like a derby match to make an atmosphere.

What a load of bunkum; I take it that's because he responded to some of the sledging from Cas fans by giving a bit back? Always did the same when he was at Leeds and always does it with a smile on his face.

Nothing to do with the sledging at all. Just don't like the fella, always come across as arrogant. He played well today for you but I wouldn't want him at Castleford, I would rather play the youngsters coming through our academy myself. Not so sure about being one of the all time greatest imports but that's the beauty of being a fan, it's all about opinions isn't it.

You had Rangi Chase at your club, apparently he told a girl today to eff off because she asked for a photo, nowt like being a sore loser is there?
Ali is a very nice person and approachable, hes anything but arrogant.
He is also one ot the best imports in the SL era and many SL fans will agree with this, not saying hes the best but hes one of them.

I must admit, when it came to those re-signing for last year I did think that Ali would have been a prime candidate for the chop given his advancing years - but I must say he was outstanding yesterday and I think that was his best game for us.

An absolute pleasure to watch yesterday, hopefully there is more life left in the old legs yet!

Ali took a lot of stick from the Cas fans in Chav Corner when he dropped a simple pass. 10 minutes later he scored that try and returned some light hearted banter.

thought either side could've got absolutely tonked by a good team yesterday - was frustrating but entertaining at the same time.

i think the game was won by wakefield having more experience in the pack (the likes of Lauititi) as Cas' bench were 20,21,21,22 in age

I think that's where wakefield won it - although you guys had a touch of luck - ben reynolds burst through at 32-28 with 5 minutes left and was in the clear, but gave himself up cause his boot came off. He's like poo off a stick and there was only Poore chasing back.

On that note, I think Poore needs to man up - he played a combined total of 18 minutes both halves

You also need a replacement for Peter Fox, who probably had the worst 20 minutes I've ever seen from a winger

2 knock on's (one from a restart leading to a try, the other under your own posts leading to a try) and 2 missed tackles for tries in twenty minutes.

That being said, you guys did wonderfully well considering that was like giving up an interchange.

Effort was fantastic for a dead-rubber and I hope another 20 quid from me will help keep wakey in the comp (unless its at our expense of course!)

No doubt about it, Ali was up for it yesterday!

I don't think there was only Poore chasing Reynolds - I think Kay got him ! Also I consider the Fox errors to be a huge slice of luck for Cas'
