Wakefield vs Salford is not hard, but i'm looking at it as a supporter of Wakefield. Looking in the other direction it would be, for a young prospect who would have many suitors if he were to leave, equally unattractive. A small club with pitiful crowds vs a less small club with poor crowds. I think it's a little disrespectful to just assume a player from another club would want to play for your club. I know it annoys me when to boots on the other foot.

Having said that it would be great if Trinity could sign him though. If the planning for Newmarket is granted and Salford's goes tits up (which seems unlikely now) then the powers of persuasion would favour Trinity more then now.

Leaeno is a very average, barely first grade NRL player. But a big bloke who will make some yards and create a bit of momentum...but not much else. Up to the rest of the team to make the most of it he definately wont fix anything on his own

2 I'd rather have a Charlie who wants to be here rather than a right Charlie that doesn't!

well JK has a track record of getting players to perform above themselves so atm i think he could be a decent aquisition. And i agree on your second point but he's nowhere near the standards of a tronc on top of his game so i hope theres a fair bit of money left over to strengthen other areas also.



Yeh sure is, my point was he does an average props job but not a world beater. Tronc has/had far more dimensions to his play.

All in all so long as there are other reinforcements on there way, could be a good piece of business as i cant see him taking up all of troncs salary
