Can’t wait. Would imagine less than 1,500 rovers fans will get across on a Thursday night, so 7,000+ Trins in midweek is really strong. Win this and I think we’ll have a load of sell outs this year. No reason why we can’t win this one too. We’re just about at the limit of our squad but what I know for sure is we won’t get beat up like in the past. Anyone know if Atoni’s fit? Would like to see a similar squad to last week, but with more use of our rotations. Something like: Jowitt Russell Pratt Hall Johnstone Trueman Lino McMeeken Doyle Uele Storton Croft Pitts Russell Atoni/Shaw Faatili Vagana I’m looking forward to seeing the ground almost as much as the game. Blimey. No Matty Russell in the squad. Any idea why? Would be happy to see Walmsley get a shot, but Pratt will have to take more carries in our end. Asking a lot of our starting middles again. Bench of Russell, Fatatili, Vagana and Shaw probably. Good players, but two building up their fitness and Shaw who’s probably not ready to go toe to toe with Hargreaves’s. Would love him to do a Croft and prove me wrong of course.

Need to not be rushing out on the edges. I noticed Cas held their line and slid well and didn’t shoot out and for the most part this helped. Looking forward to seeing us continue from last week and put in a performance. Hull KR full strength but even with 6 or so out I’m confident we can get 2 points if we get our heads down.

Going to look good on Sky Sports this Thursday. Regardless of the result I am sure there will be many positives in particular, the direction of the team, the stadium, the atmosphere it's a real lift for the City you can feel the positives all over

HKR, are a better side than Leeds, our problem is we don't know what our energy level/s are after a game higher than the level of the championship + a short turn around, the intensity is far higher & for the full 80 minutes so it's going to be interesting, their pack is full on & Mikey lewis his/has the X Factor + .his physicality near the line, he has a lot of dummies & late releases in him ! Come on Trin, have a go !

We know a lot more about Hull Kr than they know about us. Listening to Chev Walker post interview on rhinos podcast, he said they thought they had the measure of us after Boxing Day…….. when we had around 9 players missing from our starting 17 not playing that day KR will be very wary, we have a lot of confidence after the year we had in the championship where winning becomes a habit and with knocking Leeds off at Headingley, coupled with their performance against cas (Cas were solid) we should feel very confident.
