Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

| IMO James Elston is on very uneasy ground.
He is well aware his choice of HC is poles apart from the fans choice, he denied RA to the fans (face to face) and the press numerous times, IMO he is in a very unstable position & could be viewed as ignoring the fans (at a time when we shoul be nurturing the support of every fan we get).
All that without considering the fact that in some WT circles he is viewed as a remaining part of the "old guard", the appointment of RA would only strengthen his critics argument of perusing the same old tactics (cheap options & a club for old mates).
JE is the 2nd in command and only takes (day to day) orders for AG (who has very limited RL knowledge), the appointment will have a great deal to do with the views and recommendations of JE; so should things not move on in 12 months time I believe JE will have a heavy share of the burden to carry.
If you think it's the right appointment we will back you as always, WT isn't a choice for most- it's part of who we are!

| This is no consolation to die hard Trin fans who will be supporting "the club" come what may. We now may have to put up with Agar until he fails gets a better offer. It's clear that the fans opinions (And I include those of Hull FC too) mean nothing to AG/JE if Agar does get the job.
On the positive side there's still a sale of shirts linked to a cavery offer headlining on the club website!

| Without doubt, JE has put himself in a tricky spot.
He as GPFC states denied it would be agar, this I find very strange.
However, good folk of Wakefield! If this turns out to be a good appointment, I hope those who jumped quickly to criticise, are equally as quick to come back with the praise.
Just a thought.

That some people are dicks. Its unclear who she is referring to but I can think of a few right now.
I don't understand why JE would want to take the risk and appoint someone nobody wants. He could have had the easy life by setting on just about anybody else who would get much more support from the fans. If he gives the job to Agar he is setting himself up for a very uncomfortable ride if it goes wrong. He isn't going to get much of a honeymoon period thats for sure. A poor first month of the season and he is going to be getting a lot more flack than if he appointed somebody, almost anybody, else. Maybe he likes trying to prove people wrong? High risk strategy if what we think is going to happen comes to fruition. I hope he knows what he's doing.

Its not that long ago you were contemplating life in the lower leagues with god knows who as coach. You are still in SL (by default) and might have a new coach who actually took a club to a major final recently.

Patronsing opposition supporters don't help.
Also you have shown considerable ignorance by stating by default.
Bye.

It’s also not long ago you were languishing in the lower division, however, if it was intimated that Agar was coming to KR, there would be mass suicides in East Hull.

So, had Crusaders been able to compete in 2012, you are 100% sure Wakefield would have survived. I would be interested as to who you think would gave been given the boot.

We where highest rated of the C clubs from what I have been told, I think Crusaders probably saved the Quims.
