Must admit I'm disappointed by this, I think he's just coming into his prime and as a big prop with decent ball handling skills he's a good acquisition for Cas.
He does have something to offer but if we are wanting to be regulars in top half of table I think we need more. A real quality front row addition to go alongside Mckmeeken would be amazing.

Cas fans aren't happy, bit I too think he'll go well for them. Isaac Shaw rumoured to be heading over there too.

| Its a 'Meh' from me. He came over and wasn't interested, it took Dave to give him a kick up the backside. Was good in the champ and has show glimpses this year but goes missing far too often for me for his size. We will be looking at better than him.

| Did I read somewhere in a random post on the gospel that is Facebook that other than that we have obviously signed a few for next year (not in doubt) but the name Tanginoa came up?
Did anyone else read that one? I'm not sure what to think if there is truth in it - My view would be that I think he could be coming to the end of his shelf life while still obviously handy.

| Well Griffin won't be here next year, Powell confirmed in his post match conference that he's moving on, but didn't say where.

It’s a tough one with Griffin, I think he’s been solid this year and was outstanding against Nsemba last night. Obviously club think different. So glad Pitts is staying, talk about ageing like a fine wine.

Just that he is coming to the end of his career and time to rotate in a younger model. And it will extend his playing career if he steps down a level.

I shouldn’t have worded it like that tbf, my bad. Yes I agree, that’s the right waY to put it PT.

I would be happy to see Tanginoa back if true .Think there is still a lot of years left before end of shelf life .Just hope we do not try to turn him into a prop . How old his he ?

He is 32 next March. About the age we signed Griffin so I would be fine with Tanginoa for a season or two. He would likely add something on the edges and with him, Storton, Vagana, Nikotemo, Croft (hopefully) and Scott there is plenty of quality to manage those edge forward positions.

| With Atoni signing for Cas, I’d go for Owen Trout from Leigh to bolster the front row. He’s got size, youth, brings loads of energy and wouldn’t take up a quota spot. I’m not saying we’d get him but he’s a Wakefield lad and fan. In his short career to date he’s been at Cas and Leeds as a junior, then Huddersfield and now Leigh so he’s obviously not worried about moving from one club to the next.
