Potentially two with the proposal to increase the quota. 

Mathew Shaw reporting that Atoni has signed for Cas next year. Been a brilliant player for us, but time to move on is right I think. Gives us a quota spot as well. Big prop signing to be announced I reckon.

Like a few have said Atoni is improved from when he first came. He’s solid and reliable. Has some flashes where he’s effective and others where not so much but he will improve Cas’s forwards.


I think the quota spot is needed ultimately but he goes with the fans thank you if he does for his efforts. 

Must admit I'm disappointed by this, I think he's just coming into his prime and as a big prop with decent ball handling skills he's a good acquisition for Cas. 

He does have something to offer but if we are wanting to be regulars in top half of table I think we need more. 

A real quality front row addition to go alongside Mckmeeken would be amazing. 

Cas fans aren't happy, bit I too think he'll go well for them. Isaac Shaw rumoured to be heading over there too. 

Its a 'Meh' from me. He came over and wasn't interested, it took Dave to give him a kick up the backside. Was good in the champ and has show glimpses this year but goes missing far too often for me for his size. We will be looking at better than him. 

Did I read somewhere in a random post on the gospel that is Facebook that other than that we have obviously signed a few for next year (not in doubt) but the name Tanginoa came up?  


Did anyone else read that one?  I'm not sure what to think if there is truth in it - My view would be that I think he could be coming to the end of his shelf life while still obviously handy.

Well Griffin won't be here next year, Powell confirmed in his post match conference that he's moving on, but didn't say where.
