They ****housed us in the first half and got away with it. As soon as we took the lead second half, leigh pulled out a sense of urgency from nowhere and we couldn't react. The play the balls building up to their try were lightning fast and it didn't feel like we reacted.


How do we turn these narrow defeats into narrow victory... If the coaching team can find the answer we have playoff potential.

A couple of Lino brain farts the difference really. One in the first jumping out of the line and the second the obstruction penalty giving Leigh territory for the last try. Small margins were finding ourselves on the wrong side of. Essentially two free hits coming up in Wigan and HKR, and I think we have a chance in both. 

Agree with most of what has been posted BUT the winning try was a forward pass and they had already got away with one the tackle before. Officials do their job and we probably win . Small margins. 

Let's blame Lino again ,give over .How about we are leaving Hood on the park two long ,Smith came on and we were a lot faster at play the ball ,same thing happend in the Leeds game ,how come Griffin is first choice in the second row, the guy is struggling to do 20 mins .The truth is we are not a top 4/6 team ,and there were times we could not match Leighs speed, ,especially in the spine .We are along way of were we want to be but can not fault the players for giving 100% 

Need an experienced Prop on loan otherwise the 2/3 fit props Trinity have will be burnt out….

We are missing a prop I agree. Managing 3 props with rotations isn’t ideal although they are standing up well. 

I would with a short turnaround be playing Rourke, Doyle, Russell, Scott, Nikotemo, Walmsley and maybe Myers and/or Ellis. All very capable players but i think it’s important we manage the squad next week. 

Now I've watched this back I realise how fine the margins were for a win.


Leigh we're dominating in the first half but we weren't bad. And we held them to scores that still gave us a chance when we got momentum.


2 key moments in second half.
Balm yo Tom was just high enough that he had to jump allowing winger to put him in touch. If he'd had his feet planted he'd have scored 


Max getting tackled over the line. If he'd have gone low in the tackle he'd have scored. He wasn't to know the tackler would hit him in just the right place. Any other time he'd have scored.


We made mistakes early on but those were just part of the arm wrestle, but the last two would have put us well ahead and stopped Leigh momentum


There's a lot of drama on FB but when you look at it objectively we were in the game and Leigh had to be at their best to beat us.
It takes time to build a team that comes out on top in those big games but we are not far off.

And we only rest players that have knocks on Friday.
Wigan struggled to beat Huddersfield.  We need to take advantage while we can.
