I agree with poptart on the selection of Trueman if fit. Tom Johnstone and Ollie Pratt need another option from the halfbacks, as they are only feeding off the oppositions 5th tackle kicks most of the time. If we can get the ball out wide or our kicks on the opposition line that`s when they come in to their own. Max as done well covering in the half backs but Trueman is the real deal when fit ! Also when Max is at full back he does come in to the line and his miss out passes to Tom have been productive in the past.
Trueman can not be match fit , If fans think playing one match and missing 4 plus makes him a great player so be it .Think we should stick with Max in the half ,and Rourke at full back .There should be no way Rourke should be dropped for Max, ,he as been out standing the matches he as played to bring in a player who at present is not fit .Just got to laugh when I hear people say ,he could make the squad to face the Australians I assume pretty much every time he`s played for us he hasn`t exactly been match fit as he hasn`t strung any games together, it doesn`t seem to have affected him any time he has come into the side, we look a better team and his fitness doesn`t seem to be highlighted - What`s the difference this week? Agree; how can he ever get 'match fit' if he doesn't play. There’s a reserves competition

| We are sorely missing Uele IMO, we don’t have the same yardage without him. I’m not happy with some of the decisions against us today and their last try was of a pass that was half a yard forward

| Would like to see their short dropouts again. The first looked like it was taken just behind the line and the second looked like it hit their man just behind the line.
I wish we could get Trueman playing every week. We look better in attack with him on the field.

| Criminal that we used only 3 subs, should have had Seth on the bench and Rourke 18th man.

The second drop out they took Pitts out then dropped on the ball.

| If we had looked after the ball better in their 20 in the last 10 minutes instead of forcing it we would have held on for the win, but gave the ball up cheaply with a penalty and the rest is history

| They ****housed us in the first half and got away with it. As soon as we took the lead second half, leigh pulled out a sense of urgency from nowhere and we couldn't react. The play the balls building up to their try were lightning fast and it didn't feel like we reacted.
How do we turn these narrow defeats into narrow victory... If the coaching team can find the answer we have playoff potential.

| A couple of Lino brain farts the difference really. One in the first jumping out of the line and the second the obstruction penalty giving Leigh territory for the last try. Small margins were finding ourselves on the wrong side of. Essentially two free hits coming up in Wigan and HKR, and I think we have a chance in both.
