Hopefully there was some new fans in the south terrace with the initiative before game day in the local area.
What initiative was that? I've suggested to the club before that a leafleting campaign on all the new houses on Neil Fox Way for discounted tickets for the likes of Huddersfield and Catalans would be worthwhile. If it was something along those lines and they do it again I'm always open to shoving a few leaflets through doors.

Free tickets just for the south terrace on the new builds. It seemed that there was more in there soo i suspect a good few were taken up. May as well do same for Salford game and hopefully they will return as paying customers for rest of the season.

In terms of attendance, can Wakefield supports buy for the West stand or is it away only? Because that's where we are losing if we leave it for away only.
Trinity fans have season tickets for the west stand. At the game it was clear a good chunk (maybe 1/3) in the west stand at least were trinity fans. They congregated to the north side. Warrington really did bring a poor effort of a couple hundred. With the east a north full, if we want to increase the number of ST holders for the west we will have to improve the facilities on there. With a few capacity crowds probably up it a few hundred too if possible. I would imagine that could happen off season. Either we need to add some capacity to north or it’s the west but the west isn’t going to bring in many new supporters. Hopefully there was some new fans in the south terrace with the initiative before game day in the local area. I got told on Sunday that the West Terrace re-development is definitely going ahead at the end of the season, so hopefully should be completed for next season ??

Hopefully so, would be nice to have new terracing and a roof over it with upgraded toilets and hopefully add a little to capacity for the big games and any increase in home fan season ticket sales. If we end up in playoffs the only place new favs couple potentially buy tickets is south or West.

I guess it depends who told you.Matt didn't say that at the forum. He said they've got planning but hadn't decided as it wouldn't actually increase attendances. And they might prioritise north, though that is very expensive. Maybe they've moved on from there.

With the north and East sold out the West could very well increase attendances if it was redeveloped so I’m not sure about that. The north would be ideal though despite being expensive. Still so painful to see all that wasted space and capacity.

Well the Environmental Impact Assessment that's has been submitted to WMDC is a precursor to development so we may see some plans for the NS soon, depending on what the EIA comes back with.

| Good to see fans disappointed with crowds of Six and a half thousand for Wires game .,shows how far we have come as a club in the last two years, remember we are still a team in progress ,a few years ago we would get 2 maybe 3 games of Six thousands plus and the rest of 3 to 4 thousand .Think Wembley last year proved the support we could get at home .We have just got to be a regular top 4 team and get to semi-finals .The best thing is we are moving in the right direction to become one

Having the Council and Fire Brigade re asses the ground since improvements would be the best avenue to increase crowd density. The NS sell outs leave loads of room in the back of the stand and also the corners. The ground as is cold hold 10k I would estimate with no further work, but a recertification of the safety cert.

Anything you build with seats will reduce what is currently standing unless it's on 2 levels which is less likely with the houses behind. He said he could make it nicer but hard to make it bigger Whereas North has unused space so a direct increase, except, as Carter and Minards found, to take it back further you'd have to lift the roof, which suddenly lifts the cost in millions.

What do you mean seats? I don’t think there was any plans to make the west seating. I believe it’s to be standing. It’s a real shame with the north what it will cost to correct it. Years ago it never had a roof so maybe we can just remove it completely and just sort the terracing and look to add a new roof at a later date. I’m sure Matt will find a way to enable growth. Looking forward to seeing what’s coming next whether it’s west or north.
