| Regards Lino, he's playing with far better players than he's ever had , which has allowed him to play a more structured style of play. But agree he looks a totally different player.

| One thing I would like to see for next season is for us to bring in a couple of high quality uk players. It would be interesting to see a list for players available for 2026.

| Joe Batchelor signed for Hull 2026. With Griffin probably been in his last year that would have been a good pickup for next few years. Wonder if we were interested. There are a few English based players worth looking at available for 2026. I see Jumah Sambou at Oldham is having a good start to season with 6 try’s from 4. Only 23 and looks like a wing prospect. Seems very evasive on front foot. Not rumours but I’m looking forward to see how our squad evolves over next few seasons. I think we probably only need to add 2/3 quality players a season to see steady progress.

| Yeah, I wonder if we enquired as well. I had ideas that it'd have been good to get both brothers here for next season and then Batch signed an extension for Hull KR and my enthusiasm went away. I could have sworn I looked up Joe to see what his contract was at Saints and thought he had another 2 years which also put a spanner in the works to signing both but I must have got it wrong.

| Didn't realise he was 30! Reading some St's fans comments seems like they feel its his time to move on and he's has his fair share of injuries. Thought he looked injured Saturday tbf, he was holding his shoulder for a while

Agree with that, with Smoothy coming I just feel like we could do with one statement English based signing for next season. There are players who would certainly be of interest to us like Jordan Crowther, who I think has improved as a player. Loose is a position we need to strengthen next season. Though his career has stalled somewhat Eseh could be worth a look for 2026 to develop. He’s likely going to fill out a bit too over next few years.

| Matt Ellis spoke on West Yorkshire Sport regarding recruitment. It's not going to be as extensive as last year. More evolution rather than revolution.

We do not need J C does a 15/20 mins job for Wires , and i think he as not improved that much just a work horse with is defence but does not offer any thing else and suits Wires game plan .As far as lose forward is concerned Smoothy as played there, so let's get over bringing back x players, never works out . They left a poor team ,we are in a stronger position so need players that can push us forwards to been in the top 6 consistently

| Listening to Liam Hoods interview sounds like he is leaving at end of season. Great player and sad to see him go but I think injuries are catching up with him. He excepts team is evolving

Johnstone, Hall, Pitts, Croft - all players that have returned and have a part to play in the continual development of the club. Past players are lake any other player and should be brought in if they fit what the club wants/needs and not just written because they played for us. Crowther looks physically to have matured a little and I think could be an option to offer us something in the middle at 13. A position where if Pitts gets injured we will struggle. There are a lot of players out there. Just running a few through my head who could improve not just the starting13/17 but the wider squad and depth as a whole.
