| I think Lino is guilty of overplaying, or at least trying to do too much when he has the ball.
It's funny, at one point (might have been at the back end of 23) he was playing on one leg pretty much for a game or 2 and in those games, he actually looked fantastic which is strange to say. I think that's because he was forced to slow down a bit and do the basics. When he does that, he looks very good. He just needs to cut out the running around like a headless chicken and get on the same wave length as the players around him, which he can obviously do.

He was up there and involved in most of the try’s so it’s no surprise. He was my motm too and I’m still hoping we can hear news soon.
Back to Lino. He was good at Leeds and he was very good paired with Trueman on Friday.
He usually takes the ball too close and closes his options out sometimes leading into an erratic pass or step. There wasn’t any of that vs Cas and he released the ball at the right time to the runners. I’ve been critical in the past but more than happy to see him play like that.
Like another has said. He has put his foot into the lead to partner Trueman vs Leeds as it stands.
I thought Russel went better vs Cas too than vs Leeds so be interested to see more from him too.

| I wonder if Trueman is more dominant character so he just plays his role without worrying about leading.

Seems so, Truman looks pretty self assured on that left edge. I think him, Nikotemo, Pratt and TJ could work very well. There’s some youth, energy and no lack of ability there either.
I will say that Nikotemo also looks the business. He’s technically good, strong in defence and certainly seems to be able to put himself about. Good early signs from the young man.

| Agree with all the postings, however, there needs to be slot more from Truman & Russel as they are far from being a constant threat to the opposition & certainly have not dominated a game yet but its early days & there needs to be far more from them, they have talent but need to be a handful yet to the opposition.

They have t actually played together yet. In the two games we have seen they were solid vs Leeds and Truman and Lino most certainly controlled the game vs Cas. They were highly involved, perhaps not in end plays but putting us in those positions. It’s got game two though so I’m sure they’ll show more as games fly by. I’m quite excited by Trueman. If he’s in the mood this season it could be huge.
