If they'd won 1895 and Grand Final then have probably taken Salfords spot. As they'd get 0.35 more and would (though I haven't checked) get 0.11 for the league position.

This proves something I have thought for a long time. Salford are one poor performance season away from both catastrophe and missing out on superleague.
