Quote: Riderofthepalehorse "As a supporter of Hull for over sixty five years and more, I have attended many games home and away, many times at Wakey, very rarely seen trouble on the terraces, were real fans contribute, occasionally it has occurred, last time as I posted was a few years back, minor alcohol related stupidity.
Our supporters as duff as our team has been for a decade or more, usually help the coffers of all our opponents with much needed revenue, the guys I travel with are responsible respectful people who take their children and grandchildren with them, long suffering we may be, noisy and supportive most certainly, toxic, get a grip man.
A lot of these internet mindless comments are probably from rogue interlopers who suit their own agenda, and love the hate, this old faithful wishes Truey and Scott all the very best for their efforts over the years and good luck to them at Wakey, probably keeping their own council on social media would be an astute move for young professionals.
And as all at Hull say farewell to these two, a special player of ours Danny Houghton closes in on 450 appearances with never a hint of toxicity, just an ambassador for our great game.'"
Well put, I remember back in the Pearman days a bus full of FC fans came over to offer us support after we were deducted points, there aren’t many supporters of other clubs that would go out of their way to book a bus and spend n afternoon supporting an other club. And because of that I’ve always had respect for Hull FC fans.
