I don't think it'd be a bad thing if we're looking to strengthen, but only with a view to the long term. I don't think we need a quick fix, but if players like Russell, Hall or Storton etc became available now then it'd make sense to bring them in early.

Completely agree. No signing players out of urgency to be stuck with them when they aren’t part of long term plans. Be better off paying a fee to get Russell in early (if he’s signed).

Sorry mate but they are not weak. Lino, Gale, Kay and Lawford were/are more than enough for this league, especially as Max can drop in at 6 if needed.

Why are fans insisting on viewing us as if we are a kind of SL team when we are not, we are in the championship, and as a championship club we have an embarrassment of riches.

No other team comes close in terms of depth or ability, we'd have to have a catastrophic injury crisis to need to worry, and should that happens then we have the cash to rectify it.
