Personally I would take the £100,000 and forget Goulding. If he is the standard we are aiming for it's time to pack in.

Disagree he’s a pretty good player and a natural fullback, something we desperately need with Max out. Has also got some versatility about him. Watson sent him out on loan in the championship last year to learn the hooking role and he’s been playing there for the giants this season coming off the bench.

I've never reckoned much to Golding as a player, but if we're bringing someone in I don't see a better option to cover Jowitt's injury who may be available.

He has a great work rate and is a bit of a positive energy.

I think he would be a very good addition given our current circumstances, the fact he can play multiple positions is a bonus too.

Murphy has done his acl so this is unlikely to happen.
I'd still take Golding on loan.

He should be fully fit by start of 2024 season at least and I wish him well in his recovery. Kershaw has come back just as good and TJ has done it twice so he can take heart from that.

Hudds coach has said this morning, in a radio interview, that Golding is going nowhere.
