Whilst the negativity on here doesn't help anyone, I do feel, however, that with our poor form, and certain comments or rumours off the pitch, that to put on the rose tinted specs and bury your head in the sand attitude, which several have both on here, and the RWB page, that this doesn't help either.

I've thought about this and you are absolutely correct.

I envy you because, as you only ever expect the worst and see the fault in everything the club do, you are NEVER disappointed.

You are validated in your misery and take comfort in it.

Only the hopeful, the optimistic and the positive are ever let down and disappointed.

The problem is I actually want to see us survive and move forward, unfortunately we are regressing and face relegation with all that will bring. What makes me so despondent is that the club appear to believe that we will do another Houdini act however we all know what eventually happened to him when his luck ran out.
I think it is supporters like you who are unwilling to face facts regarding our position that embolden the club to carry on with their current trajectory. You are optimistic and positive which means you can never be let down because that will make you a misery.
I ask you think and question how things are going, how the games are marketed, how the team are performing, how the signings appear more based on economy rather than improvement, how the club appear not to have bothered asking those who are rumoured to have signed elsewhere if they have and why you don’t think this to be strange because surely they would be discussing new contracts.

This is spot on.
IMO the players have been letting the supporters, the club and more importantly, themselves down.
Too many of our top earners (DF apart) have looked very average in recent matches and surely they know if we go down. most of them will struggle to find another SL club!
