| File this one next to Ruben Wiki then....
Think that one gathered enough pace that someone asked him when he was joining Wakefield.... he laughed.

| I am sure Gill did come over to protect Lewis, his rugby style could be considered breakneck with no regard for his or those he was tackling safety.

The club would have been better keeping it going because it generated hope which as now been squashed. We are back to what we have with Chester in it

| It should have been squashed early if not true.
Should have know better really, ambition and adventure not associated with the present Wakey administration.
Would have been great,

I do hope MC has better things to do than pander to the nonsense posted on forums and silly press stories. don't you?
He doesn't use social media any more, he made it clear he will not respond to the vile abuse it and distortions generates, would you? Go figure.

| It`s a strange one, you would imagine that Fifita isn't happy playing for the Jets, I think Morris must have some kid of vendetta against him or have some sort of falling out as he went well in pre season and he never seems to drop players that have bad games week on week.
Cronulla will be desperate to get that wedge off there cap but I`m not sure there is an NRL team that would take him as every club has similar issues with rosters etc, the only place I can see is Cowboys if they get rid of Mcguire gets moved on as they are trying.
This is why this made so much sense but this morning I hear that he is on his way to Leeds.
If it is for one season, I question the value in bringing him over as I believe he will have a few games on the side-line for a ban anyway?

I go back to this every time but when Pauli Pauli arrived in the country, I saw him and spoke to him at Manchester airport (He actually told me that he was here to play for Wakefield), the rumour at the time that we had signed him was denied and when I posted on here by daddycool, I posted he must have signed for another club as I had just seen him at the airport and I was called a liar on the basis that he was still over in AUS.
Not sure the reason for that, may have been a very good reason but there is no denying that MC in the past had a track record of saying one thing and another thing happening, but since I knew that for certain first hand I tend to take anything with a pinch of salt.
I don`t believe we have signed AF, I think we maybe had a discussion with him but I think it was the classic agent saga, looking for a club in NRL or SL to take him, if you think about, we was probably the perfect club for that on the basis he has a strong link to wanting to play with big Dave and from what I hear that has worked out for them.

What do you mean early? The story only got going Sunday, and MC ruled it out yesterday. Also as been mentioned it’s nothing new with MC ruling out rumours. Don’t know why people are getting upset about this.
Personally I think Chester’s had enough money to play about with so it’s better to save some for the next coach.

The reason is very simple, agents will use Trinity as a bargaining chip. The players are happy enough to play for us but would obviously prefer Saints. If we don't give them the oxygen to spread the fire then bigger clubs lose interest. It goes way back. Solomona was sone under such secrecy that his team photo was ready well before his signing was announced. Heatherington was spitting feathers he'd missed Solomona, ask him, he still doesn't know how Trinity kept it so under the radar.
Ditto Kelepi. It's very hard for us to sign quality as we are never the first choice. The only positive is that most NRL players don't know who we are and probably get us mixed up with that legendary club that used to exist in the 1960s.
