Partially agree there Dreadnought, although Miller has had good moments, but for me lacks consistency, and hasn't developed that all round half back game I was hoping for.
You mention Tim Smith, I would say his first spell, his second was somewhat of a damp squib.
I would have looked to bring in a quality one for last season, and not someone who was even older than the one we previously had.
I just think in our squad, we have 3, maybe 4 players who could make the 13 shirt their own, 4 players vying for the second row spots, not to mention two other ageing players who can play there, which when we are at full strength, cant see them playing too many minutes. I wont mention the front row, as we are thin there for a few more weeks.
My point, do we really need all them, and could we not have gone that extra mile, and brought in a quality 7.
