we WILL need a replacement! IMO Danny was the only player we had to unlock defences, unless the Miller/Hampshire partnership is given a chance (and works!)

Jenna Brough just posted to say he isn't out for the season.

The half back partnership must be the club's priority if thats a combination of what we have now or entering the market to bring someone in. Brought will have a lengthy lay off and i would think find it difficult to return.

Hope we do not waste cash on a 2nd or 3 choice or go for a nother 30 + choice We should have learnt our lessen after Finn and Brough .

Escare for me on loan, someone with that X factor that can unlock defences .

Gales injury was before he played a game last season and thats the reason Cas could excempt him from their cap. Once you've played a game its too late although it does seem a bit unfair.

Whilst I'm glad that Broughy's career hasn't fizzled out in unfortunate circumstances, he is clearly going to be out for a lengthy spell which doesn't help either him or the club, but if BJB is out for the season, then at least we could de-register him knowing that he will be suitably recompensed by the RFL.

We’d still be the ones paying him, not the RFL.

His wife posted on social media that it isn't a season ending injury. As an HKR fan I hope it isn't. Yes he is the player we all love to hate but even at he's age he is still one of the best half backs in the game. Awesome player who I love to watch and always has you on the edge of your seat when he plays. His passion for been a winner can also be his downfall but that's what you get with him. Hope his wife is right that it isn't his season over as it isn't the way that this should end for him.

For short term , I would try and get Martyn Ridyard from Leigh on a week to week basis until you get someone permanent for the rest of the season. I know you won't agree, but I think he would do a job for you at such short notice. Ridy is now our 4th choice half believe it or not, but I would give it a shot.
