Quote: Eastern Wildcat "To be fair to Agar, he led us into the top 8 in his first season. Not bad, and even more so when it was an entirely new squad just about, all of which bar maybe one or two were brought in before he was.
In his second season, with about 5 games to go, they were there, or there abouts, but, with the debts, some of our players were sold off immediately. I think we finished the season with Cockayne and Liam Kay in the halves.
He started following season the season with a cap spend of something like £1.2m I think I read, and started off ok. For me the wheels fell of when Sammut came in.
For me the 2015 debacle was down to James Webster, pretty much saying by about round 4-5 were looking at middle 8s and MPG. Hardly putting confidence in your squad. He should have walked as soon as he said it for me'"
With regard to Agar I think he's actually better suited to Sinfields role & could sort out the mess they are currently in. Let's hope they leave him where he is!!
