Completely agree. I was dreading Kershaw on the wing after the boxing game derby but I was shocked as hell yesterday with his performance. Leeds couldn’t handle him

Kershaw deserved MOTM but I thought Reece Lyne must have been pretty close too. Another excellent game for him.

| Great debut well played.
Large slice of the humble pie please , my only comments were based on the friendlies against Leeds and Newcastle.
Would be happy to see him retain his place

| I don't know where they've been hiding him, but the oldest 19 year old in the world was outstanding - not the quickest winger, but strong, committed and really effective; they couldn't put him down for love nor money!

Having not seen much of the 19's or indeed friendlies for a while, I did wonder who the old man was when he ran out with the squad, I thought perhaps a new coach. Still it seems that 50 year old strength inside a 19 year old body worked well as a combination.

I didn't say he was slow - I said he isn't the fastest.

I know what you meant but what I'm saying is he's faster than certainly I was led to believe, that was a quick length of the field. we are pretty lucky to have three genuine speedsters at the club in TJ, MCB and despite reports to the contrary BJB. Under normal circumstances we'd be marvelling at our pacy new winger

| We also have Reece, who seems to be the quickest of the lot!

My observation was more about his relative speed - he doesn't have the acceleration of TJ, the effortless glide of BJB or the blistering straight line pace of MCB or Lyne; but I still wouldn't fancy my chances in a 100m race against him.
I like a rough and tough nuggety winger - and that seems to be his forte; legs like tree trunks, able to bust a tackle, and more bottle than Ben Shaws.
