| Watching on Sky at home in Ipswich, I enjoyed that! I missed the start & Wakefield were 10-4 in front when I started to see it, but for a change, I never thought the win was in doubt.
This was the second time this week that I've seen a Leeds team deservedly lose (Tuesday in Shepherds Bush), but as much as I dislike both versions of Leeds, I like far more seeing QPR & Wakefield win!
I did take a bit of umbrage hearing that nobody would have predicted a Wakefield win tonight. Why would everybody expect the better side to lose?

Cheeky git! Would he have said that if he'd gone to Leeds, Hull or Wigan (all of whom are below us)???

| Thought Bill was out of order. He might start the question with "no disrespect to Wakefield" but he then showed the opposite.
To be fair, I suppose they asked Jackson Hastings pretty much the same question, but it was more or less "why are you still at Wakefield".
On another point, the South Stand was quiet. I know they weren't playing well, but normally the trumpets are an accompaniment. Tonight, it sounded like they were playing in an empty church hall. I've wondered all along whether they were taking away all that was special about the South Stand by making it so big with a high roof.

| This thread started with people moaning about paying £26 tonight I’d have paid double, brilliant performance.

| It gave Tom a great opportunity to say he is already at a big enough club. Thought he came across really well.
Also Trinity Heritage has just pointed out that the last Wakefield player to score a hat trick at Headingley was Neil Fox in 1963......who was there watching.

Bill Arthur knows nothing and although maybe less atmospheric the new stands make it a very impressive stadium.

It does look fantastic, but sometimes less is more, because the atmosphere was what made it special. Maybe money would have been better spent recreating the old south stand in a modern version and developing the away end. Not that I particularly care, I suppose.

| Well, having Leeds at Headingley and United at Elland road on the same night made travelling there and back a whole load of fun but, boy, was it worth it.
Apart from conceding 2 late tries, I thought that Trinity were superb.
Dominated Leeds from the off and although Johnstone will take the plaudits as he cant stop scoring, there were huge performances from plenty of others.
Big Dave up the middle, Tupou had Watkins floundering, Brough with superb organising, Kopczac and King super solid and Hirst with his best game of the season and then throw in Miller and Hampshire plotting and scheming behind the pack.
What a great team performance
Hope Ashurst is ok and it was good to see him walk round the pitch later on.

| Without sounding harsh, they weren't good. But that was because we made them look very ordinary.
Excellent performance from 1-17.
Great defence. The backs delivered tonight, big time. Rocky (great hands!) Torpedo Tupou, TJ, Reece, BJB....
Looked like we would score when the ball went through the hands...
Thought Big Dave was - as usual - outstanding.
Then Horo, Kopy, Keegan & PP coming on continued with the drive forward.
Up the Trin.

| Apart from one error, I thought Hampshire's performance was excellent and his contribution shouldn't go unnoticed. For Johnstone's first try his speed then delayed pass was brilliance, i really can't wait to see teams try to defend him in the summer months.
