Well I know a player at the Giants and most of the squad are delighted Brough is leaving. They all think he's an absolute w****r. Sounds like a good deal financially for us though and probably a risk worth taking seeing as though it's now about finishing 11th not 8th in order to be safe, and if we somehow end up below London then a hell of a lot more than Danny Brough has gone wrong.

I was told today from a good source that Broughy signed a two year contract with us earlier this week. The source did not know why it's not announced yet.

How am I only bothered about finishing 11th? Reality is last few years we wouldn't have been able to take a gamble on a maverick like Brough at his age since if it backfired we could have easily ended up in the bottom four and fighting for our lives. Pressure's off now though really so we can take the risk with a signing like that, if it works out we might end up in the play offs, if it doesn't oh well, we'll still be at least above London and nowhere near going down. Can put more into trying for a good cup run too since there's less jeopardy in the league.

what the hell difference does it make

King has been in the frame for months, god only knows when he actually signed, could have been months ago but it wasn't announced officially until recently.
The club are gonna do what's best for both themselves and the player(s) in question with regard to signature announcements, no idea why fans think that should go out the window just so that they can know.

I was surprised to see Keinhorst on the list to leave Leeds and thought he was a decent player, one that we might make a bid on.
Turns out he'd signed for HKR waaaaay back in the mists of time and was never open to offers, yet that wasn't "official" till the last gasps of the S8's.
Doubtless, the people that need to know...knew.
Information is a useful tool if you use it wisely, spilling your guts to the masses every 5 minutes throws that advantage away.
The club will make the announcement when the time is right, not the second the ink hits the paper.
