The inclusion of Hampshire, at half back, has revitalised our season. Let's hope all a deal can be sorted for next season.

I like Hampshire and I hope he signs a long contract but we know from past experience with youngsters (and their agents)money talks.

Hampshire needs to make a choice - either carry on following the cash cow whilst never really becoming a great player - because after a while people stop believing in players who have a dozen clubs on their CV.

Or take whatever Trinity can afford and spend a few years building a genuine reputation ant one build on hype and early promise from his junior days.

If he commits to Trinity for two years and carries on developing as he has been the at 25/26 which is all he will be he can name his price. Top SL club or the NR, he'll get a 3 to 4 year deal that will make him for life and probably a place in the history books.
