People tend to use things like this too easily as an excuse these days.

I have an old school mate who is suffering. He doesnt go round beating folk up etc.

Wonder if anyone has thought of the mental issues are of those he has hurt.

A victim of an assault can suffer issues afterwards and can take a long time to heal

Gonna be 'shot down in flames here', but may as well say every criminal has mental health issues.

No most have morality issues, they don't deserve letting off that lightly.

You can't help being mentally ill, being a decent person however is generally a matter of choice.

So yes shot down in flames imho.
