As i said i knew it would be unpopular, but is it better to be unpopular and make a point that i think needs making or just stick your head in the sand and say yes that's great now we've got em on the ropes and keep the forum police aka vastman happy.

As SC has stated, we don't know who the other 3 are on the proposed new Trust. I sincerely hope it never happens as it certainly won't be welcomed by any of us and it will do nothing but create further division and distraction.

If there is to be Community Stadium it needs to be handed to the Stadium Trust set up to oversee its construction and administer its use for the whole community. Wakefield Trinity would andchor tenants, having accepted their invitation to use it many years ago, but we would be working hard to ensure that it used by others - both within and without RL!

Totally agree. Would distract from the ongoing fight and will dilute any action and cause continuity problems.

Also signed. Even though I am no longer a Wakefield resident I hope it adds fuel to the fire.

I just hope that all of you who are Wakefield residents remember this when the next council elections come round. Whilst keeping my political opinions to one side, the Wakefield public seem consistent to one way of voting in spite of the changing local landscape. Local elections should be fought on local issues, not national party affiliations.
