Great to see the fans on here and social media getting stuck in but what about those who don't use the internet. Probably worth writing about in the programmes for Friday (if we've still got time to do that) and for Easter Monday tempting others to write/email their concerns.

If there's to be any demonstration, it has to be at BV; that's the whole point - that the sporting history of Wakefield is being criminally neglected by WMDC.

How about a march from the Town Hall to BV - timing the arrival to meet the Sky Cameras outside the ground; then banners and such through the game, so they have no choice but to broadcast it? And it would help if during any pre or post-match interviews with club officials or players, they mention the situation and highlight the responsibility of WMDC to support the club in its quest to keep pro sport in the City?

Are there any high profile figures who'd be prepared to make a comment in support? The media love it when they have a known face to tag the story to. Is anyone still in touch with King Wally? Does Neil Fox have a view? I'm sure there are others.

The march part could work, the only doubt is the number of people willing to do it, we'd look complete tools if only 50 turned up. I thought of a protest inside the ground, how about at kick off, no applause, and everyone turns away from the field of play, maybe warn the people at SKY, see if they make mention of it?

Maybe the Indie journalist's excellent piece has provided a banner for us:

I'm still flabbergasted that whilst this has been picked up by the Daily Star and then the Independent, our own local media has shown no interest at all; the Wakefield Express, the Yorkshire Evening Post and Look North have all ignored it - not to mention the total lack of support from any of RL's media voices. Anyone else remember the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the commentary box when Bradford were in the mire? Eddie, if I recall correctly, made direct appeals to the RL Family to chuck money in their plastic buckets!

Nobody likes us - but on this occasion, we do care.

I've followed leads on her by sending in emails but when I mentioned this to my nephew he was unaware as he doesn't always read this forum (he's 30) and reads others. Regarding the local media, have the Trust drafted a statement and informed Calender, Look north,etc of our plight? LN were asking on Twitter for someone to give them details to look into this, not that I think for a minute that this hasn't been brought to there attention lately.
And still the lack of interest from our local rag the Wakefield express is noticeable. Shocking.

In regards to the WE, i personally haven't bought one for years but i think we should make an effort between us to get others to stop buying it until they cover this story.
