I don't think there was any malice or intent to injure, but it was completely unnecessary and considering previous incidents extremely reckless so deserved to be punished. Taking Arona incident on board he was only banned because the scouse mong Cunnigham whined about it (much like Powell in round one).
Don't care what the disciplinary panel say ...when I saw it live I thought it was bad and the video confirms it. How the plankton at the rfl can give arena 2 matches for a perfectly legal tackle and not punish this beggars belief. Didn't they state something about duty of care regarding the arona tackle? How is leaving the initial tackle to attack the leg of a stationary opponent legal? This decision just feeds my paranoia along with some of the refereeing we have had to endure this season.... the rfl are either out to get us , incompetent or both.
