Quote: The Avenger "I think the point here is that attendances are a valid talking point!
We don't have to restrict ourselves to only discussing results, the game and business of RL is multi faceted, why can't we discuss it all?
Some wounded Salford fan, Embarassed by his teams support, wants to avoid a big talking point about his clubs awful attendances and tries to limit the conversation to just results, we've talked about results but he/she ignores that.'"
From a Salford fan, the attendance was pathetic & very worrying. If you lot had brought as many as you did last year, you'd have outnumbered the home fans! (That's not a dig at you guys, just at ourselves)
As has already been said, unfortunately it was never going to be a great crowd, with United playing & ir being mothers day. I'm genuinely worried for the future of our club at the moment though, Marwan seems to becoming more & more unsettled with our lack of support, which he has every right to be. If the recent figures for projected costs of the ground are true then you have to wonder how much longer he'll put up with it.
Our next home game is on a Thursday night vs Widnes which isn't great either. On the bright side we *could* be unbeaten in 4 games and sitting between 4th-6th in the league by then. If that happens and we get less than 5k I'll be seriously worried.
