The opposition at the PI told us so many times that this would happen and it did , the club was so blinkered by the loose promise of a stadium that common sense was ignored . Or do you see it differently ?

Who says YC have not delivered - you don't know that yet. What you should have put is that YC have not delivered NM as per the original plans. Maybe it's early and you're not on your game yet.

By club I assume you mean Trust as the clubs input in this is and always was minimal, that's why it was called a community stadium - common error for the terminally ignorant.

So yes you do clearly see things differently it would appear - you see what you want to see.

The 'apologists' on here have worked damned hard towards the goal of a new stadium.

Michael Carter was involved in the club when Elston was running it in to the ground. What sort of an accountant is he? Just look at the website and try and buy a ticket for the next home game and you get offered tickets for last season. Do they really want to make money or what? If you want to wear rose coloured spectacles and have faith in people who have already failed the club then carry on. I could go on old settee in the toilets turnstiles never opened etc etc

I'm still baffled as to why MC wants to be involved in the club, I can't see his motive and that still worries me.

However there is no doubt he has sorted the club out in a big way which shows he's a bang on accountant.

As for his part in the Glover era, he came in late - wasn't the clubs actual accountant and unless he'd have made a big effort to look would not have seen the dodgy figures right until the end (the last 12 month) - if you knew anything about running a RL club it's very easy to cook the books so as even the best accountants can't spot the scam.

He's probably not guilt free but it's unfair to blame him for not spotting the problem any quicker than anyone else in the game.

As for the way the clubs run today it's not slick I agree, but in the list of priorities facing MC and Co it's not that bad.

Wasn't Eric T the accountant during Glover's era?

Don't think so but you might be right, certainly was under the Ted regime.
