He is right though IMO. When everything is complicated - new players / injuries etc - you need to go back to some basics first. Build a platform and play from that - not try to play from minute one and score every set. The rest will come, no need to force it.

Although I agree playing a simple game is better right now, it is also easier to defend against a simple game plan.
We''ve got some great attacking players. It can't be one out football against Catalan. They will eat that up.

Let the forwards get us to half way, decent kick and then hunt a mistake.
