I have previously made my opinions regarding the statue known in other areas,so in brief, I just think it shows a remarkable lack of respect to Neil Fox,record holder and true ambassador for the game. With regard to the Don Fox issue, I have deep resrvations about this.Yes it was a iconic moment and a never ending talking point, but this was something that stayed with Don throughout his life, and it has been well recorded that it affected him deeply at times right up to his death.I just don't really sit easy with the idea that something which caused so much heartache and sadness to a person should be immortalised and seen as a example of what our greatest game is about.Rugby League has brought so much happiness to so many people over so many years I just think it would be wrong to focus on one moment which caused so much unhappiness.Behind every story is a person I suppose.Just my opinion and I recognise fully the opposing point of view.

As iconic as the Don Fox missed kick was i don't think it's right to have a statue. As mentioned before, it was a tragic event which affected Don throughout his life and was something he could never get away from.
Quote: wildshot "It may be iconic but is it the right message to give? Imagine a non-RL fan going ro Wembley and seeing a statue of Don Fox. When they ask who he was and why he is there the answer will be simple
Didn't he fail that much that he won the MOM award?

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.
