I read somewhere that SL clubs had agreed not to raid the clubs contracted playing staff whilst in administration. So if that was the case, the administrator had their hands tied with not being able to sell off cheap any contracted players.

I think it would be wise for the RFL to get their own in house administrators to deal with any future club problems. Keep the money within the game.

I'm not so sure about that, their reaction on Friday night might indicate that the opposite is true and I would expect most of the ooc players to be moving on.
Although the fans wont be happy, they could well have a similar type of squad to the one we had last season, which certainly wont help their attendance figures.
As a club, they have a fair amount of pain in the short term and the comments about Odsal becoming a sports village seem a touch optimistic.

TBF they seem to have been immune to any pain thus far, it wouldn't surprise me if (with support of the RFL and SL) they won the double next year and were given dispensation to sign the Aussie test team!!!!
