Not that I agree with them not having to sell any players but my guess is that it wouldn't have helped pay the creditors if they had.
I don't know how it works so this might be wrong but if they had sold any players it would have been to cover day-to-day running costs of the Administrator, eg paying player salaries etc to keep the club going.
So selling players would have meant they had to "borrow/be given" less money by the RFL to cover the extortionate salary bill they had. Can't imagine the RFL would have still given them the £200k per month they claimed to need to pay wages if they already had some funds to pay it out of. So creditors still wouldn't have got their hands on it, however the game as a whole (RFL) would not have lost the money they have had to dish out to fund Bradford's plucky fight for the top 8.
