No player is worthy of being booed. even though i hate tomkins cos he is a dirty cheat, i dont think its right for fans to boo him when he pulls on an england shirt.

England team with english players. They can now fill the team with foreign players who have lived in england for 3 years, give our own lads a chace.

This just enhances my view that international Rugby League is a joke.

Dont blame the player blame the RL who have failed to expand the game and have for years allowed too many over seas players into the league using spurious ways to get them off quota, e.g Willie Mason who thought he could pretend he was from Tonga, Korki who had Greek heritage, to name just 2. Start closing the loop holes and reducing the quota and we may start to bring through and develop our own players.

And don't pretend the Aussies don't do it either Petero Civoniceva & Lote Tuqiri = Fijian. John Hopoate & Antonio Kaufusi = Tongan. Karmichael Hunt, Big Willie Mason & Tony Carroll = all Kiwis. Magic El Masri = Lebanese. Have all pulled on the Green and Gold Jersey and One of Aussies greatest ever players and captain Warrington born Bobby Fulton.

And to those who have enjoyed the success of the England Cricket team over the last 18 months maybe you would like to check the nationality of various players.

I agree, just because other countries do it doesn't mean we should. I have quite strong views on this and have had heated debates regarding matters such like this.....most recently regarding athletics with Mo Farah.

You are born in a country, that should be your origin and if you are not 'GOOD' enough to make the grade with them well it's tough stuff....get on with it.

It is a complete joke, I for one am losing interest rapidly in the international game.

I don't understand how any player could pull on another countries shirt.

How could a coach trust a player who disrespect is own country and why would other players want to stand alongside him.
