Quote Theboyem="Theboyem"Don't care. As James Elston said last night, it doesn't matter what happens on the field. Makes no difference how many games we win, rugby league is all about what your stadium looks like and how big you mailing list is. Something wrong there isn't there?'"
Everything wrong more like.
10 years ago I'd have gone to this exiles game, I'd have done anything to push the game. Even now I think it's one of the better ideas.
Am I going, no way I'd rather stop at home and chew my own arm off than give my hard earned to the game I once loved. Don't do Internationals, Representative or even away games now. Maybe I'm petulant, maybe the game can do without the support of fans like me - I know my place in the modern game - I support the wrong kind of club, one in which on field heroics and the ability to find talent where there is none counts for nothing.
As John Harbin said, Wakefield are a mongrel club and there's no catagory for us in the Crufts SL.
