The franchise system has seen then death of the Rugby League family, it's nothing more than a thing of the past. This system imo invented to protect expansion clubs will be the death of the heartlands, with very little to show on the expansion front. If the system was fair as it's supposed to be and the kind of system that all clubs signed up for we would have no doubt who would be ejected, and its not Wakey or Cas.

As far as I'm concerned everyone at the club deserves a HUGE well done. To get this document ready in 4 weeks is a tremendous achievement, and a credit to everyone at the club who has contributed. Nothing concerning the old regime is in it. It has been totally re-written since the takeover. What we, the fans, need to do now is get behind the club and the application, and become more positive about the outcome. After all everyone at the club seems to be under the impression that we have a real shot at getting in SL for the next 3 years. If they believe, so should we. After all

Didn't realise until last night even though one club gets into Superleague today it's not the end for the other two clubs who lose out. One of them still gets a chance to get in around June or July time. Do you think this is dependant on either kicking two teams out or keeping two teams in..?

If any team other than Widnes get in today then expect two teams to lose their place come July. If not then it's anyones guess as to what will happen. |
