Quote: topliss belly dancer "what are the rules on trading while insolvent ? reckon that in selling season tickets post the newmarket call in is probably what we(they) were doing. It was obvious to us on the outside looking in the club was bust - those on the inside should have had the spuds to put the club into admin the day of the newmarket decision in the knowledge that the needed cashflow wasnt going to materialise. But no - we will have one last throw of the dice (the sharescheme). Mismanagement to the (very) bitter end.
My mates were up for sponsoring a couple of players...and did a deal with elston... however they were bright enough to see the writing on the wall... (the cheques still in the post james..)'"
The Club were selling false promises knowing qiute well they would not be obliged to honour there contract when we went into admin, how can you possibly offer fans seat's at a ground that does not or maybe will never exist ?, i feel for fans who have lost money, and fans who have shelled out hard earned cash on Season tickets, the only way Wakefield are going to get cash paying fans through the turnstiles is to drop the gate admission or reduce season passes to £100 or so, i know it's crap on them fans who have paid full whack, otherwise we are looking at attendances worse than Quins 1,500-2,000 tops.....
