Quote: nakb "You can find players all over the rugby league who may have played only a percentage of games compared to what the could have played. Sean Long missed almost a full season when he was taken off the ball (by Costin) playing for Saints. Paul Deacon was out for sometime after the headshot he received playing against New Zealand. Does that make those two examples injury prone, doubtful.
You can throw as many stats in as you like, but as somebody once said (I think it was Stuart Raper) stats are like mini skirts, they let you see some things but hide the good stuff.
How many of those 53 games have been missed due to the compound fracture? and if not for the that freakish accident how would possibly have been missed?'"
Chev has missed 25 games so far due to the leg injury and the subsequent infections. We have at least 4 more games which he will miss taking the total to 29 missed since the injury.
As I said he missed 24 of the 55 super league games prior to this with a mixture of Shoulder, Wrist, and shin complaints.
